The dust has barely settled on a spectacular 2025 season, but the engines are already revving for the highly anticipated 2026 Kenyan Rotax Max Challenge (KRMC). Returning to the fast and demanding Whistling Morans Circuit, the Main Series Round 1 takes place on the weekend of August 29–30. Following one of the most thrilling championship deciders in recent memory, the stage is set for a new chapter of fierce rivalries and high-speed battles.
Looking Back: The 2025 Championship Drama
The 2025 Junior Rotax championship was a masterclass in tension, ultimately decided by a point tie-break after a grueling 13-race season.
The Champion: Krrish Vadgama clinched the 2025 Junior Rotax title with 338 points. His formidable consistency at the final round—taking two heat wins and two second-place finishes—secured him the overall victory and the bragging rights to race with the prestigious Number 1 plate.
The Tie-Break: The battle for second was decided by the narrowest of margins. Alvin Kioko and Luusa Magana both finished the season perfectly tied on 311 points. Kioko secured the vice-champion spot and the Junior Rotax U15 title on a countback rule, thanks to his four second-place finishes compared to Magana’s three. Magana's costly retirement (DNF) after 6 laps in Heat 2 ultimately relegated him to third overall.
Rounding Out the Top Five: Myles Imbayi finished a solid fourth with 291 points, while Zahran Mogul took fifth with 288 points.
Mini Max Glory: Rio Bixente Wyles was crowned the Mini Max champion, followed by Ishaan Patel in second and Terrah Ababu in third.

As the grid forms for the 2026 Main Series Round 1 on August 29–30, all eyes will be on the Whistling Morans Circuit. The newly released entry list promises immediate action across the categories, showcasing both familiar faces and new challengers.
Senior Max The Senior Max grid is shaping up to be highly competitive, highlighted by the arrival of the 2025 Junior Rotax vice-champion Alvin Kioko. Now stepping up to the senior ranks, Kioko will face stiff competition right from the green light. The entry list includes:
Alvin Kioko
